What Inseam for 4'11" (150cm)?
At Petite Pyjamas, we offer three inseam lengths - 29", 27", and 25" - all designed for women 5'4" and under. If you're 4'9", the right inseam for pyjama bottoms is 25" or 27", depending on your body proportions and the fit you prefer.
· 25" - our Custom Petite length, made to order specifically for the shortest heights
· 27" - may work if your inside leg is closer to 27" - measure first

Why standard pyjama bottoms don't fit at 4'9"
Most pyjama bottoms are made with a 31" inseam - designed for a 5'7" frame.
At 4'11", that's couple extra inches of fabric with nowhere to go. The hem drags, the legs bunch, and no matter how many times you roll them up, they never quite look right.
Our petite pyjama bottoms are cut with a shorter inseam as standard - so they fit from the first wear, without any rolling up or alterations.

Is the 25" inseam available in all styles?
The Custom Petite 25" is available as a made-to-order option. Because it is cut specifically to your measurements, it is non-refundable. Please measure your inside leg before ordering.
What if I'm between 4'9" and 4'10"?
At both heights, the 25" Custom Petite inseam is the best fit. Measure your inside leg — if it's 25" or under, this is your length.
Should I measure my inseam or go by height?
Height is a good starting point but inside leg measurement is more accurate. Two women at the same height can have different leg lengths. See our Size & Length Guide for how to measure in under a minute.
Will they shrink after washing?
Our cotton pyjama bottoms may shrink by approximately 0.5"–1" after the first wash. To minimise shrinkage, wash at 30°C and air dry.
